"Mindfulness for Kids: Cultivating Calmness and Concentration"

In our mindfulness classes for kids, we offer an enriching experience designed to help young ones develop essential life skills such as concentration, emotional self-regulation, and resilience. Our classes are divided into a total of 8 sessions, each lasting for half hour. These classes are tailored to three different age groups to ensure effective and engaging learning:

Schedule: From 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with distinct schedules for different age groups:

  • Ages 5 to 7: 4:30PM - 5:00 PM

  • Ages 8 to 11: 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM

  • Ages 12 to 15: 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM

What Is Mindfulness? 

 Mindfulness is a practice that involves being consciously aware of the present moment without judgment. It helps children develop an understanding of their thoughts and emotions, enabling them to respond more effectively to life's challenges. Through breathing techniques, meditation, and interactive games, children learn to:

What to Expect:

  • 8 classes with fun and interactive activities for kids such as mindful eating, movement and more.

  • 30 minutes of mindfulness and restful break from the busyness of daily life.

Classes Details:

Class 1: Mindful Breathing. In this first class, children will learn the foundation of mindfulness through the practice of mindful breathing. They will learn to pay attention to their breath and use it as a tool to find calmness and reduce stress.

Class 2: Mindful Movement.The second class will focus on mindful movement. Children will explore how to pay attention to their movements and how this can help them connect with their bodies and improve coordination.

Class 3: Practicing Gratitude Gratitude. is an important part of well-being. In this class, children will learn to focus on the positive aspects of their lives and develop an attitude of gratitude.

Class 4: Mindfulness for Emotions and Feelings. In this class, children will explore how to manage and understand their emotions. They will learn to identify and accept their feelings, enabling them to respond in a more balanced way.

Class 5: Your Five Senses. The five senses are a gateway to mindfulness. Children will explore how to use their senses to connect with the world around them and enhance their sensory awareness.

Class 6: Yoga Asanas. The sixth class will introduce children to the world of yoga, where they will practice postures (asanas) designed to improve flexibility and strength, as well as promote relaxation.

Class 7: Finding Purpose. Children will explore the importance of finding purpose in their lives in the seventh class. They will learn to define their personal values and goals, which can help them stay focused and motivated.

Class 8: Self-Care and Self-Love. In the final class, children will learn about the importance of self-care and self-love. They will discover how to care for themselves in a healthy way and develop a positive relationship with themselves.

Each of these classes are designed to provide children with tools and skills that they can use in their daily lives to enhance their emotional well-being and concentration. Parents will find that their children benefit from these classes and develop important skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

  • Price: $120 for all 8 classes.

  • Classes are 2 times per week

  • 4 week session 

  • Dates Online: Monday and Friday 

  • Dates In person: Tuesday and Thursday

  • Early Registration: start every 8th of each month
